The flu shot made half of the males at aTm homosexuals. The other half are now autistic.

Never ever will I allow virus mercury and aluminum to be injected directly into my bloodstream. At least never again. The one time I ever got a flu shot was the only time I ever had the flu.

I hope Darwin checks you in. People not getting vaccinated helps decrease the surplus population and is chlorine for the gene pool in the long run.

is it really true (saw it on a commercial) there is a stronger dose flu shot if you are a senior? What do they consider 'a senior'?

Here's the deal. We're giving 3 different ones out.

Flulaval is low dose for kids on state vaccination programs only.

Fluzone is your standard flu shot, your free one at Walmart or work or a crappy insurance or Medicaid would cover.

FluBlok HD is your high dose. The difference this year is it's approved for seniors 65+ (a "safer" high dose I guess) and covered by Medicare. And any adults 18+ with a good insurance like BCBS or Tri Care can get that one covered

Also not true. Only with contact/droplet precaution patients.

It decreases your chances of getting the flu at all by around 60%

Bull shite. Anecdotal. The same bullshite advice year in/out. The flu shot this year is at best 10-15% effective globally. I'm not an anti vaccer but the flu shot is a bust. Its not like a tetanus or MMR. Those are time tested and effective globally. I truly believe the flu shot is making the flu mutate faster and it becoming a more elusive target. As for decreasing the exposures by getting the flu..bull. You can still have flu particles on your grubby hands and pass it on whether you got the flu or not. Cleaning your hands regularly and washing your face is probably a more effective deterrent. Shove your advice Mr Smarty Pants.

But once someone is that sick from the flu, they’re either going to get better or they aren’t. If they are declining despite being on a ventilator, high dose tamiflu and other supportive measures there’s really nothing you can do

Maybe try some essential oils next time.

Never had the flu shot. Never had the flu. Why should I start now?
To lower your chances of getting it in the future. You are not immune to it because you haven't gotten it before. In fact, that may mean that the symptoms will affect you at a stronger level.

May mean...but not necessarily. It really just boils down to genetics and more specifically the strength of your immune system. I haven't had the shot since I was a kid and I did get diagnosed as having the flu two years ago. Left work at noon on a Tuesday to go to the doc office where I was positive for the flu, and was back at work Friday morning. Was never once miserable, just didn't want to spread it to anyone else and stayed out until my fever was no more. I've had colds that made me more miserable. Not saying it could never be worse, but everyone is different. There are some people that will benefit by getting the shot and there are some that it won't make a difference for. Nothing is full proof one way or the other.

Haven't gotten shot in years and never got the Flu. Got the flu twice when I got shot. You do know when they give you the shot they are giving you the flu right? and weakening your immune system so you're susceptible to sickness and death. really terrible.

Please tell me this is severe sarcasm!

Here’s an unpopular opinion. The flu exist to control population and humans will evolve and become stronger from it.

Yeah. No thanks. I will never get the flu vaccine. If flu vaccines work then my patients have nothing to fear from me giving it to them...and I’ve never contracted it in my 15yrs as an emergency physician.

So spare us your self righteous bullshite.
