I have 3 daughters. Raised all 3 to be self sufficient and not have to rely on someone else to take care of them. My oldest married 2 years ago. I gifted my future Son in law a Glock 48 for Xmas a few months before they were married. It was his first pistol.
I told him the reason for it was if he ever hurt her I wanted it to be a fair fight

It ain’t that serious, I don’t want a divorce, I’m not even ‘mad’, it’s just a PITA to deal with at times. But it’s one of the things I’m willing to let slide because I love everything else about her. Been together almost 20 years, ain’t giving up now
