Like telling folks not to shoot heroin unless he experienced it. Or don't take the covid jab unless he experienced.

LOL

Because one hasn't experienced it does not mean one can't see the danger it it.

A lot of people been talking about the recent tragic death of Caleb Wilson at Southern University. But I'm noticing a lot of people don't truly understand Black greek culture so let me help you out. I think people see a lot of famous or "elite" Black people affiliated and assume it's all good but it's not. And unlike White greeks, Black greeks tend to make their letters their identity way past graduation. Actually most Blacks join greek life after graduation, it's so weird and backwards. I mean greek life is a major religious cult in Black culture ... the brainwashing and marketing is that strong.

Black fraternities are super demonic and dangerous. White fraternities are the same too but Black fraternities take it up a notch. Most white fraternities don't even brand their members. If they do it's like some sick joke. Most Black frat guys are branded or at least considered it .. they take it super seriously

Even the Black sororities move like the men. I never heard of any White sororities beat each other but that's common among Black sororities. Also some Black sororities even brand each other. Like I said the shite is crazy

Black culture has a strong violence problem. And it shows in so many facets of Black culture from fraternities/sororities to Spring Break to Black schools to nightclubs to athletic events. It's so freaking bad, I believe that curse of Ham thing. Black people are very divided with greek life too. You have the group like me that think it's super childish and demonic and then you have the other group who think it's the best thing ordained by God and the reason for their existence. Very few people are in the middle.. If you know any person pledging a Black greek organization just know they are going thru hell 3 times worse than the average white pledge and it's not even worth it. 99% of them don't even have houses and they don't even get along. At least the white frats and sororities have big beautiful houses, maids, cooks, huge fancy parties, fly out the hottest Black artists, and more perks.

And contrary to popular belief, there are a noticeable number of white people in Black fraternities and sororities. In Louisiana especially it is fairly common. I know the AKAs, Alphas, Zetas, and Sigmas at LSU have a few white members.

Good for them. Let them do whatever they feel like doing. Different strokes for different folks. But don't preach to me about how Black Greek Culture is different and why we don't understand it. I don't want to hear why, i could care less why, i give zero fuks about Black Greek culture or White Greek Culture. And i'm willing to bet most posters on here feel the same way. I got more important things to worry about in life than White and Black Greek Culture.

Some opt to join after college so they don't have to go through the stupid arse hazing they put the undergrads through.

Something tells me that Shaq didn’t take quite the beating as your normal member.
There are "wood" members who go through regular intake (NPHC term for pledgeship), and "paper" members who are usually campus celebrities.

Maybe how it should be, but not what they were called when I was in school. Paper members were looked down on.

You don’t have to go through the hazing, even as an undergrad.

The black band cults are dangerous too:

Southern University student collapses and dies during off-campus fraternity ritual

A 20-year-old Southern University marching band member collapsed and died during a fraternity ritual, according to police.

Caleb Wilson, a trumpeter in the school’s renowned Human Jukebox, died last Friday morning after an off-campus event at a local park with members of Omega Psi Phi, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

At the event, pledges were made to stand in line as part of an initiation process when Wilson suddenly collapsed, sources told Fox 8 Live.

They're all weird as frick

They are indeed. Why anyone would tolerate any of it for more than about 10 seconds is a mystery to normal folks.

I fricked around when I was a young man and let an older co-worker convince me to pledge a masonic lodge. What a bunch of fricking freaks. The shriners do some fantastic charitable work but jesus christ the masons are just a bunch of fricking weirdos and so are shriners by law. I was pretty convinced I wanted no part of it about 15 minutes in when they started telling me that when you met a black man wearing any sort of masonic emblem or jewelry to assume they had stolen it and it wasn't possible for a black man to become a mason (white masons do not recognize prince hall masonry) because all it took was one black ball and they already had 2. I seriously doubt this has changed since the late 1980s....given that the same old frickers are still the majority of the members it is doubtful they have suddenly had some sort of epiphany....

Major four colleges cracked down on white Greek life - especially fraternities. They basically just social clubs now.

They simultaneously ignored black Greek life which has only gotten more extreme in the hazing.

And yes I see grown professional black people - especially women - sporting their letters at work like anyone gives a shite. It’s weird. I don’t wear my fraternity tshirts to work…..

Not accurate. Even if they join later in life, they are still obliged to complete and engage in everything as if they were in college. It is definitely a different type of commitment.

this pretty much sums it up

I think black fraternity hazing is worse regardless, but anyone who went through these systems knows that the public facing "getting tough on reckless greek life" stuff almost entirely ignores black greek life for obvious reasons
