In response to the mall shooting.

I wouldn't worry too much about it...it is too cold for "protesters" to be outside much right now.

It's pretty cold out there. Break out the mist sprinklers and some fans.

If they’re protesting in this cold, they must be getting some good pay.

I heard one woman tell the other that she was "from Charlottesville, too" and had gotten to Birmingham today.
Doesn't help the paid protestors theories.

A couple supersoakers would make for some great post work entertainment.

They got a pretty good reason to protest. The police killed the wrong guy and the shooter is still out there.

What protest is that from?

I am all for people protesting when they feel the need. In this situation, they may very well have a reason to protest with the way this story looks to be playing out right now. That being said, it is neither safe nor fair to other people to block traffic and keep people from going where they need to go.

So the police kill a guy for exercising his 2nd Amendment rights to self protection? Wonder why they just assumed he was the shooter?
That's why idiots should not play cop when they conceal carry. It's a double edged sword, you try to protect yourself, but you're brandishing a weapon in the presence of dead/injured people instead of taking cover and holstering the weapon, that's when shite like this can occur. It's unfortunate but it's a reality of this kind of situation. I don't know who is right or wrong but this has happened before and is the most precarious situation for non uniformed police and/or concealed carry persons.

Everyone is aware of the issue. The problem is now being ginned up as racist when the victim was 100% in the wrong by pursuing a criminal, outside the scene, at night.
A CC permit does not give you a license to play cop. He was playing cop and was the victim of an unfortunate event.

Was hoping they were protesting to move the SEC baseball tournament

Agree 100%. A protest should never harm an innocent third party.
