The trial will likely be outside of Massachusetts, no?

If they sought anything less than the death penalty I would not want to live on this planet any longer.

I met a shocking number of conservatives in Watertown. And a not so shocking number of liberals who, just this once, would love to be the one to give the injection to this guy.
I was there 3 weeks after it happened, though, so I imagine a lot of the emotion has subsided.

A quick execution is too nice for him. Something slow and painful would be best.

I was asking, I really don't know too much about federal prosecutions.
Regardless, they don't exactly have a great track record with executing people they pursue with the death penalty. Something like 3 executions in the 70 cases they've charged since 1988.

A shameful amount. They just can't process that he's a terrorist and not a tragically misunderstood pretty boy.

I have a feeling that trial is going to bring out some really stupid people who will be in full support of this guy.
IMO, mostly lovesick (and utterly brain-dead) tweens who think he's too cute and cuddly to have committed this crime.

Is the chair still around?
I say give him the chair... with a dry sponge (à la the Delacroix execution in The Green Mile).
