Is this where we bash Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, AND Mississippi?

I’ve only been there for a week about ten years ago. Seemed like a great place. Nice beach, NFL, MLB. Berns Steakhouse was a fancier Outback.

I was in Tampa last week the place is a sauna for trash. If Florida is calling you, go I guess, but Tampa blows, especially in the summer.

I lived there from 2007 to 2009.

You couldn't pay me to go back.

No beach in Tampa. Considering it’s relatively close to the gulf it can be kind of s PITA to get there from Tampa too.

Probably the best area in FL. A little more urban than the panhandle, not as touristy as Orlando, and not quite as dangerous as Miami.

(I lived in the Bay area for a number of years in my 20's).

Really? I haven't been there since 2005, but I didn't notice a ton of immigrants. Everyone spoke English.

Then again, I didn't spend most my time inside Tampa (mostly a St. Pete, Clearwater guy).

It's okay to visit.

Don't think I'd want to live there though.

I have some good friends that live in Bradenton and considered moving there in my early 20s. It's a nice area to visit. Good fishing, not very many hurricanes hit Tampa directly, weather is like LA weather.
