Proposed plans to develop major shopping/entertainment/residential area north of Houston

Looks like Kingwood would get the Woodlands treatment. Any chance something like this could actually happen on that side of town? I thought the flooding Kingwood took during Harvey would've made a project like this prohibitively risky, but the article is from 2018...

It looks to be a nice plan, but considering The Woodlands' towers are vacant, I don't see the benefit. Not like suitors are on a wait list for office space.

wouldn't be the worst way to spend your money if you don't plan on bringing anything to market for another 2 years and then develop in phases.

Preliminary renderings are generally just pie in the sky concepts to lure investors and bilk taxpayer dollars from li am governments
