Property damage by FedEx driver

Anyone ever have to deal with this? Stupid lady comes today in her car, delivering packages for FedEx. I have outside cameras but not pointing in the direction that she turned around. There's a whole area in my drive, opposite of where she turned around, just for people to back in to and leave. I've read some horror stories online about FedEx shucking responsibility for this type of stuff. Anyone dealt with it personally?

most likely it was a 3rd party contractor that delivered for them. even if it has FedEx on the vehicle, it isn't always a FedEx employee. same for Amazon.
it is the companies way of avoiding all risk.

I had a driver last year back off my driveway and nearly go down a ravine, he got stuck and I had to pull him out. If he woulda gone back another foot he would have crushed my septic tank. I took pictures of it all but thankfully there was no damage.
Edit: also had another FedEx driver steal $100 out of my wife’s purse in her vehicle in the garage. Didn’t have video to prove it but the timing proved it was him.

Correct, FedEx doesn’t deliver packages to your house.

I had a Sysco driver pull into my driveway and break off the cap to my fencepost. I have the truck number, pics of the damage along with the truck, and the date it happened. Their customer service is outsourced and doesn't give a shite. It isn't worth the time to pursue it any further and they know it.

It was a UPS driver for me. He somehow managed to get off my driveway and hang my AT&T internet/phone line (that was always too damn low) with the corner of his truck, pulling it down and breaking it. I just called AT&T, told them what happened, and gave them the info the driver gave me. They came out (after three damn days) and fixed it. They charged UPS directly.

Which is complete bullshite. They are acting as an agent of the company, why shouldn't they be responsible and then be able to subrogate against their hired contractor? Especially since they most likely would not provide you with the 3rd party info so that you may go after their insurance.
My frustrations stem from an Entergy 3rd party contractor destroying my sidewalk & driveway apron replacing a utility pole. Actually, had the before pictures because we had just installed a new drainage system ~3 weeks before Ida.

FedEx?
CSB, just a fable Mrs Kenn made up.
Apparently Jody was all up in your yard’s guts too.

Looks like a 1963 Metalic Mint Green Pontiac Tempest.

Because it’s in the contract between the driver and FedEx corporate. They sign the contract that says they are their own entity and FedEx corporate is not responsible.

No driveway? Afraid the tire tracks are going to devalue the lot your trailer is on?

I had a fedex driver in a Penske truck deliver some boxed furniture to my house and threw it multiple times. She broke the contents. Luckily I had it on video

Don't get me started on Entergy. They fricking destroyed my yard and refused to fix it when they were installing something (I completely forgot what it was) I think it was for the natural gas line

it is no different than Oil companies that have rigs all of the Dakotas. the outsource the rigs to smaller companies, and they outsource to other companies. when there is a spill, accident or death - the main company is completely shielded from all responsibility.

The frick was she driving? A monster truck?

BS. Fed Ex truck delivers at my house.

the truck may have FedEx on the side - but 80% of the time it is not an actual FedEx employee - it is a contract worker driving an independent vehicle with the name on the side.
my wife was an Insurance claims adjuster, and anytime Amazon or FedEx was involved, it was not either company - but a 3rd party company that takes all responsibility for it.
it is a shitty way to do it, BUT for smaller companies to get into the money that is Amazon and FedEx, it is what they have to do

My in-laws had a similar incident. Delivery and mail trucks kept cutting the corner of their circle driveway turning around on their dead end street. ALL the delivery trucks, not just those delivering to them. Made a crater in the corner of the yard. They placed a large boulder in the spot. A UPS truck ran over the boulder, somehow lost control of the truck and ran across the yard with the boulder underneath, cutting a massive trench as it went. They got the yard fixed and the worst parts resodded courtesy of UPS.
