Proper driving etiquette at intersections

For the love of goodness, please look ahead to see if you can make the turn when the light is turning red. Dont be that guy/gal that blocks the intersection causing people to wait through most of a light cycle.
To the remarkably dumb woman sitting in the middle of perkins/bluebonnet, you got what you deserved having to wait in a middle of an intersection while drivers went around the left and right side of your car because we are not letting you block us.

Yeah I hate when people stop in the middle of intersections and clog traffic. Dummies don’t belong behind the wheel.

I can't stand these people. I deal with this a lot crossing Essen on Picardy every afternoon.

Cops literally sit at intersections in NYC to ticket for this. It’s a money making racket, like speed traps in the south at the end of the month, but one I actually enjoy seeing enforced.

I can get down with something like that in baton rouge.

Those impatient fricks need to die and need to die now.

There is pretty much zero traffic enforcement in BR. The little bit of “traffic enforcement” that occurs is basically cops searching for drugs and warrants. Even LSP doesn’t do any enforcement in BR.

Yeah I rarely see them on Bluebonnet south handing out tickets or by my work near Government. They have thrown in the towel on stupid uninsured selfish drivers. Baton Rouge is a recipe for disaster.

True story.
I'm at an intersection right now with a retard turning left, but can't and now is blocking the lanes.
FYI, I'm that passenger now. And watching people blow their horns at the redneck in the truck

I've always thought that one day, when I'm an old man and really don't give any fricks anymore, when this happens, I will put a huge smile on my face as I gleefully T bone the fricker blocking the intersection. When the cop comes, I will just shrug and say, "my light turned green and I went. Was that wrong?"

Grounds for public execution, in my opinion.

They do this every morning at the intersection before my kid's school. I actually changed my morning route because of them.
True story: I was in the left turn lane one morning and because of the (Westlake) train, I had no where to go. There were actually cars in the middle of the intersection. I put the truck in park. I waited through three light cycles before I was able to proceed. The truck behind started honking at me after the first light we sat through. I was livid.

It happens every afternoon at Acadian and Perkins. It will just get worse when they close the Perkins on ramp and force everyone to use the Acadian on ramp. Talk about a CF

Oh how I hate these people. For me it’s Blue Cross/Bluebonnet. But let’s not pretend we all haven’t been that guy at least once. Jesus, you want to shrink and become invisible for being that much of a dumb arse.

Yes, it did happen to me once, when I was much younger. And it wasn't intentional. But as you said, I felt like such an arse I now make damn sure it doesn't happen again. In fact, I will have someone honking at me because I'm stopped at a green light and won't get in the intersection until I know I can make it clear. It's the people that KNOW they will get caught in the middle and do it anyway that I want to T bone. The ones who did it on accident because they didn't realize traffic was stopping in front of them I actually feel bad for.

What's even dumber about this is that there are two lanes turning left there and the lane that backs up is usually the right lane. I guess people think they won't be able to move over to the the interstate onramp and would rather get in the backed up lane and block traffic.
