Nah. Someone with a place closer into Springfield that know how to run a business. But not Boopalus.

But I hope someone will eventually get Tin Lizzy’s reopened and up to its potential.

Kinda my thought as well. I love drinking by water, random dive bars, country music, and good people watching...I'd have a damn good time at this place.

Just disappointed in tOP that there weren't pictures of each of the bars and the drink in question.

my cousin used to own Warsaw marina before he died…he had the bar hopping and was doing really well with it. Shame he didn’t get to see it through

Mr. Carl was just asking too much for it but maybe his daughters will come to an agreement one day and list it for a reasonable price.

Had a boat out there back in the Pat Shingleton days when he was in the 2nd or 3rd slot.

Honked at some friends on the deck as I passed by Saturday but haven’t stopped in, in a while.

Looks like Sun Buns renamed theirs to "Da Kathy" and is donating $1 from every one sold to mental health. That's pretty funny.

4.5 million dollar sales price,
bar/building/land/license? It’s probably worth close to that but the buyer pool will be shallow at that price

It is sort of depressing to read something like this, the illiterate ravings of a madman, and realize they are probably really successful financially

Carl Lind died in September. He has 3 daughters and a son in law involved in figuring out what to do with it all now.

Does this mean they lost it because they were late (or forgot) to pay the annual maintenance fee?

Also, how do you register a trademark for a name used throughout the industry. In my delinquent days I’ve had worm buckets at prop stop, coconut beach (old location), and some bar off of bourbon; and i am sure the term “worm bucket” for bars that throw gummy worms in a drink extends beyond the greater New Orleans area
