I can accomplish this tomorrow. Make people eat a balanced diet and run one mile a day.

One of our biggest problems exploring space is our limited lifespan. This might open the door to expeditions into outer space.

Dr. George Church, who is also a prominent Scientist in the longevity field(mainly via his work as a geneticist) is working on that via gene editing, hoping to enable humans to survive cryostasis for long space expeditions.

I'll be 41 in June. I'm right at the edge of the optimal age for this. But if I keep myself in good shape for the next 20 years I can live w/being 60 forever.

our lowered birth rates are going to be a huge issue going forward as the amount of people in retirement (don't produce, don't invest, and cost to maintain) are going to swamp the number of workers.

Good. Keep the young working longer in good health.

The big question is what causes our body to become less effective at renewing and replacing damage later in life? Is it pre-programmed?

Shortening telomeres. Yes it is preprogrammed.

That could pose quite the dilemma for the wealthy. Give up all their wealth to afford the technology, or die rich and pass the wealth onto their kids.

I thought telomere shortening had more to do with immunity. I think it's more complex than that, you can't tell how old a person is just by simply looking at telomeres, nor can you reverse aging by lengthening them.

How much does Joe Biden and his puppet masters have in this venture? Sounds like someone’s getting rich.

Jeff Bezos is the modern day Ponce de Leon searching for the fountain of youth. Like Pnce, he will die searching.

How is that a dilemma? Spend your fortune to reverse aging, then you have decades to make even more to leave to your family.
