I could probably impress you if I really tried.

Must be doing something right, my wife is still hanging around after nearly 20 years. She's pretty, makes good money, and does her own thing. Luckily shes still interested in me.

You really don't realize that the majority of the store brands are made in the same factories as name brands

I'm not rich enough to buy cheap things.

I do make exceptions for many expendables though like spices, office supplies, etc.

I'll go generic without a problem. But you do always want to get the heavy duty.

Coffee - Maxwell House works fine

It technically works. But it tastes like shite. Try a cup of freshly roasted and ground in a French press, and try to say all coffee is the same.

I've never noticed a difference between q tips.

When it comes to charcoal, definitely don't skimp on briquettes. But you can buy whatever lump coal. And it's usually all the same. The only difference is what type of wood they use. But lately, it's been hard to find anything except mesquite lump coal.

Here's the advice I got from my long-passed Dad who was a Depression kid and then was Airborne (Pacific) for WWII:

Spend on your teeth, your eyes, and your feet.

PS: Hey beefer, been awhile.

If you like burned stale coffee, sure.

Get whole beans and grind them fresh like God intended.
