Yep same way. Had to learn to act like I give a shite about people. It sucks tbh. Only advice is to learn to talk to people and to "interact" with them.
Literally read this in Dexter's voice...

Advice:
1) Save up. If you are an introvert, get your alone time in before your visit. Save up your social energy for the time with your inlaws.
2) Ask Questions. People are suckers for themselves. That means if you ask open ended questions about them, and listen, they will love you. It is pretty much that simple.
3) Cut the Jokes. You probably are not that funny. Do you like being the butt of a joke? Neither do your in laws. Cut the jokes.
4) Man up and apologize. This one is less clear, because now that your fiancée is fighting with her sister, you may not be able to unfrick this. Maybe tell your fiancée this. Your sister may be a bully and want to get her way, but I think we should hit the reset. I'll apologize. Then we will try it again. If she is still a beeyotch, then, we can figure it out then.
That's all I got. Good luck.

A very wealthy self-made man I used to know, now deceased, said the secret to success is to ask 10 questions in a row when meeting a new person.
Whether it's a girl, a sales call, whatever....
Ask 10 questions in a row, with each question being some kind of followup to the previous answer.
You will be well-liked, rich, and beating women back with a stick.

frick all these people telling you to be more social, and calling you an a-hole. Stupid shite like "learn to be more social", WTF does that even mean? That's not who you are. And small talk, frick that shite too. And I love how the onus is all on you for this bull shite. It's one thing if they're talking to you and you're ignoring them, ok that's rude, but why is it your responsibility to talk or strike up a conversation? Being quiet is not disrespectful. The hand shaking thing, IDK, unless you went out of your way to not shake his hand or to ignore him when walking in, this sounds sounds like a power play by the count sister.
Did you even read the OP? He cracked on the fiancée's sister before. Now he goes for a visit and won't talk to anybody like a weirdo. The fiancées sister is a bitch, but it sounds like the OP is selectively introverted, sort of like a bitch tbh

The next day, my fiancee gets a text from her sister saying it was disrespectful that I didn't talk that much to her and her husband
No one should care about that. I agree with you.

and that I didn't shake her husband's hand
Men shake hands. Introverted or not, you should shake hands.

She also stated that my fiancee should apologize for my actions and if she didn't, my sister-in-law to be wouldn't take part in our wedding.
That's insane. Good luck with miserable in-laws. I couldn't imagine marrying into a family I didn't get along with.

My kids are 7 & 4 and they know to look someone in the eye and shake (or high 5 cause their kids) people's houses upon entering.

Very legit advise right here

But, when I get comfortable with a person, I crack jokes about the person.
You are an *sshole. This is your way of staying alone by offending others.
And now it is their fault.
You bully people when you crack jokes about them.
Your discussion makes me wonder about your wife. Maybe she enjoys seeing people degraded and she lets you do the dirty work for her.

Well her sister sounds like over the top drama queen. I wouldn't apologize nor would I want my wife to be to apologize either. If she can't take you as you are than frick'em and tell them if they don't want to come to the wedding than don't. That would be my advice.

If I knew you I wouldn't give a shite if you shook my hand when you came in my house or not. I would never even notice.
With that said, if you know the SIL and her husband are like that then you shoudve know to just shake his damn hand. Be aware of the social situation you are in, you're not 15.
When I go somewhere, especially somewhere I don't want to be, I just do what's expected of me. I personally think it's dumb to have to shake someone's hand that you know and see often, but that's the kind of shite they're into that's what I'm going to do. By doing that you avoid the kind of shite you're entangled in now.

Sounds like you have the personality of a dead goat. It's rude as frick to enter someones house and not even shake the mans hand. You probably just sat there and played on your phone the entire time like a middle school girl.

The next time you see them, extend your hand to the husband first. As he reaches for your hand, pull your hand back really quick and say "syke!!!!" They will be rolling on the floor laughing and you will all forget about what you were arguing about in the first place.
Alternatively, do the same, but actually shake his hand. While shaking, pull your middle finger in and tickle his palm. As your eyes are locked, give him a hard wink.
