Depends on what or who this dairy was a supplier for. Milk, butter, sour cream, ice cream, restaurants. Something’s going up just don’t know what?

I watch aot of IowaDairyFarmer. Much smaller scale but his cows are free to go outside but they don't. They are happy in the shaded buildings with fans running. The lay in comfortably wide stalls filled with sand. There are motorized back scratchers that they can walk up to and use. They can walk around whenever they want. They have an endless supply of food filled with grains formulated for their health and milk production. They drink fresh clean water and go up to the milking gmachines in their own.
No worries about predators, heat, cold, weather or food.
