I grew up on Millerville in the 70s and it was just a quiet country- type road with no interstate exchange that we could ride our bikes down to the Cracker Barrel to buy an icee and lemon heads. It so much more current now with the AKs and respek and beefs . So boring back then with the peace and prosperity .

The area just had a Cracker Barrel at Old Hammond and Millerville.
Millerville was a two Lane road and woods was where the Target and Lowes was.

The area was pretty quiet.

There was no victim found at the scene. It remains under investigation.

There was almost nothing there. There was an old Cajun guy with a thick accent who would shoot rock salt or something above your head if you went over by his barn where that deserted supermarket is at the corner of Old Hammond and Millerville. It was a different Louisiana.

Why has no news station reported an AK47 shooting and murder during rush hour traffic in BR?

Because that didn’t happen.

So they took the body and the cannoli? Hopefully one of the cars ran a red light.

OP made it up because he wanted to hear us take a walk down memory lane about our backwater redneck childhoods.

I’m assuming as much. But Sir Drinks is usually not known as a poster to make up such an insane story to post on here. This is bizarre.

Good strategy. He must have been back channeling with Sir Drinks to back up his story?

Peej, you can’t go to DS after dark without getting harassed for money by people that don’t speak English
They block the aisle with a buggy with a pack of diapers & a few cans of formula & hold out a note asking for cash for food for their baby

Has happened to me numerous times & I'm pretty the woman is the same one that’s been doing it since her kids were babies, they are older now

It was an AR, not an AK.

And there was no victim found in the area.

It was a male subject who fired shots and thankfully had terrible aim so no one was struck.

Well don’t go at night I guess. But I will tell you that the one on O Neal has turned into a shithole. I used to work ther about 15 years ago and the place was a Mecca..... now it’s even worse than the Cortana location. The Baton Rouge area is still feeling the effects of Katrina some 15 years later. These people just don’t care. They want to live off the government and make as many babies they can make by different donors..... and they won’t say who the baby daddy is. More fee shite for us is what they think while these young kids are out committing crimes while they are on the porch drinking lemonade.... it’s a fricking fact.

/ rant...........

It wasn't that great 15 years ago either. I lived across the street from the O'Neal Walmart before, during and after Katrina for a few years. Some of those apartments on O'Neal were ghetto or trending that way already.
