They're vandals. I don't care how talented they are.

Dal East got paid bank for most of the ones you see on that link. Just like Wyland got paid Millions on some jobs to paint the entire sides of hotels, buildings, and everything in between.

Some of these people have true talent, end up getting caught, known, and then turning legit. Some of the best ones at some point want to get caught, serve some time, and then come out the other side using it as a job application that property owners will pay big money too to paint there stuff.

My Pops worked in shipping and receiving loading/unloading those cars for a couple decades or so. He always said that the artwork on the insides was more impressive than what you see on the outside because they had more time to work. How they did it without killing themselves, I don't know.

I didn't look at the link and don't care what they got paid.

Graffiti is ugly and trashy. Even when they call it "curated street art".

You don't see that shite in areas with class.

No, but you see it in areas with character.

Areas with class are boring.

Wow, you’re so much more edgy and culturally advanced than the rest of us.

Tell us more about what we lack, Banksy.

Turn that into a doll and you would have a pretty good nightmare generator.

“don't see that shite in areas with class”, poster is called Bucky Cheese, obviously an authority on class. Checks out.
Lol

Maybe sweat dripping cheese buckets are vandalism to the eyeballs of the good people in the state of Louisiana? I don’t know. I do know that gluttony is a sin. Painting nice things to make the world a better place isn’t even close.

No, I'm not. You take this as being edgy? Come on, dude. Maybe you just like boring. Pretty bad argument to head straight to the "you think you're better than us". Such a lazy effort and a sabotage to the conversation.

Example... you guys always talk about how Charlotte is so boring. There's no character to the city. It is a clean, pottery barn city. Kinda boring. Maybe that's what you like. That's cool.

New Orleans has a ton of character. Much more lively, colorful, and interesting. I like places with interest. Just not that murder rate.

Damn, message boards suck. You feel like you need to argue about everything don't you?

I'll keep my opinion and you can keep yours, and we'll go about our day.

I worked for the railroad so I saw all kinds of cool shite on train cars. So if you like this kinda stuff, there's a guy on YouTube called the ghost. He videos himself painting train cars. Pretty cool.

When I searched for certain graffiti, I found that some of my train graffiti pictures were being sold on eBay (and one was being sold on a different site with "photo by (name)" when in fact it is clearly my photo.

On train cars, who gives a shite? Obviously a bunch of OT'ers do. If it bothers you so much, sucks to be you.

New Orleans is a known shithole.

As is Detroit. They love street art.

That particular graffiti looks nice, much better than the plain coat of paint.
