Yes, liberal arts departments and others will practically trip over themselves to hire an Indian. Thats like hitting a yahztee in the diversity hire olympics.

I have far more sympathy for this woman's situation that I do for Elizabeth Warren. This woman was actually lied to by family. Anyone would have believed it.
The problem I have here is no one tried to verify it when she was hired and heralded as a Native American professor.

I'd like to highlight the fact that in order to be pissed at this they must all implicitly acknowledge that there is in fact profit to be made merely for possessing a non-white identity, which flies in the face of their entire "white privilege" narrative.
