which Americans?
Please dont tell me that those on food stamps, subsidized housing etc. are going to get a check.
As someone mentioned, this shot in the arm should be directed to those directly affected by the shut down...

You think all low income families on Food Stamps are jobless? Most of those that subsidize their finances are working Min wage jobs, and they'll need this to help pay their rent and buy food.

Trump has presided over the most statue removals in history(albeit indirectly influenced of course), states like Oregon, Virginia and others passing massive, sweeping environmental regulations, and now handing out free money.

And the "conservatives" on the poli board lap up his tweets sticking it to the libs.

Socialism is socialism, guy. Can’t wait to see the mental gymnastics of those trying to explain this is any different than what Bernie was running on. This is the Spider-Man pointing meme in real life. Trump the socialist, who’d a thought.

There is not a single Trump voter in America that would argue that he is not a Statist. He has always believed in big gigantic American government. His popularity stems from his status as King Disrupter. He is an Aspirational President not a proponent of the American Declinism that Obama/Clinton/Biden/Sanders represents. He symbolizes a dominant and confident America with swagger, not a country in retreat . He is the least ideological President in modern times by a wide margin.

True socialism is government takeover of the means of production.

It would involve nationalizing the banks, energy, Healthcare and pretty much every other essential service

So then why do people call Sanders a socialist when he only wants to nationalize healthcare... which is already partly nationalized for potions of the populace.
