You understand how having the ability to cross borders with impunity doesn't just impact humans, but also weapons, resources and other items?

The suggestion from people in congress is that we could be looking at threats from drones, SAMs and other high level weaponry that would be very dangerous to try to smuggle across a well secured border. You get flagged with a sam, the feds track it and it can roll up an entire terror network.

But yes, the open border is directly related to the threat related to whats been estimated at tens of thousands of military aged males with origins in China and the middle east walking across our borders. One estimate has the number of Chinese males crossing our border in the last four years as being larger than the number of Americans who invaded Normandy.
