You probably wouldn't even need to do that. The average AR is what... 40" or less? You could fit a few in an oversized bag.

I mainly just wanted to show the separation of the upper and lower. If the guy stayed there for a few days like reported, getting 8 guns in the room would be easy

Not entirely true... it varies by state. In LA there are none but in CA I think its 10rd.

It wouldn't matter anyway. There are so many high capacity magazines out there (I used to have probably 30 or more 30+ rd AR mags... before the boating accident) that if you really wanted to get one to commit a crime then nothing would stop you.

As I said most American's agree with me, assault-style weapons (or whatever god damn phrase you want to use) and high-capacity magazines should be banned. But the NRA and their members are too powerful.

The other important part of this study is the last question about right to owning guns being essential to freedom.

Agree completely. You could fill a luggage cart with 10 suitcases full of weapons and walk right through the lobby and nobody would ever know.

I don't want to go down a road where the US government is the only entity allowed to have weapons.

That's how Communism begins.

"Most" Americans voted for Barack and Hillary, so not sure what you think you're proving with that statement.

That's because no one, including you, have clearly defined what these "assault-style weapons" are.

assault-style weapons

The majority of people polled probably have no idea wtf this even means... bc it's such a ridiculous fricking term that it could be translated different ways.

Assault rifle/military rilfe used to be assumed as meaning capable of full auto. Then the libs twisted the term to "assault-style" or "military-style" which had nothing to do with anything other than the way they look.

An M-16 is a military rifle with full auto capability. An AR-15 looks exactly the same but has semi-auto only. You can buy various semi-auto rifles that fire 5.56/.223 (the same exact ammo and the same exact rate of fire) but they aren't called "assault-style" because they look different.

You post all the charts and graphs you want... you still sound ignorant as frick when you start spewing that garbage.

Because that's what we're talking about.

But doesn't matter anyway because Obama took everyone's guns when he instituted Sharia Law a few years ago.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Vegas also has laws against shooting people. Maybe they were recently enacted, and this guy juts hadn't gotten the memo yet.
