I mean……maybe not repeatedly such as places like Yazoo city but as far as never being leveled…..all it takes is one and some bad luck

NWS Jackson is basically blanket tornado warning out in front of the line since there are so many little spin up places on the line. Gotta think there are some very strong straight line winds, too, with how the line has bowed out.

Actually saw one along I-59 in Mississippi near Laurel 5 years ago. It was a few hundred yards off the interstate to the east, moving to the north as we were driving south. Not a big funnel, but very distinct.

Cell north of Taylorsville, MS has some broad rotation and has the hook shape.

You pretty much have to at this point. There's no chance for any appreciable lead time with these. Years back they really didn't like warning a whole line section, but they will now in instances like this.

It is the first cell with any sort of life ahead of the line so far. The slopfest of little cells has been very helpful for southern mississippi

In an entirely unrelated rant/gripe.....Oatey plumbing primer/cement needs to be kicked in the dick. If they're going to tighten their caps to God level tightness, they need to not make the cans paper thin. Now I've got the purple fingers. I didn't make a mess, though.....I've learned that lesson. frickers.

Sorry, baws.

If we don’t get a lot of discrete cell action, the big story may become straight line winds with how bowed out this line is.

Sure glad we've had a mess of little cells because this is a violent environment for storms.

All the warnings have been north of I-20 in ms.

I’m an interpretive expert. I read all the shite the NWS and SPC put out and then interpret it based on my historical observations . I’ve been trying to tell y’all this wasn’t gonna be shite in sela for two days. Just not our setup.

That rotation in the Montrose cell (formerly Taylorville) is still broad but blowing up, that's gotta be warned soon right
