No, he needs to send the bill to his attorney. He does not need to be in contact with any party involved.

What was it?

I’m not sure how big the company you work for is but I would call the benefits department and ask them to help deal with it. If not them, then maybe an attorney, I assume you have engaged one by now.

Haven’t stopped thinking about Redstick and his family since we first read his post on 3/14.

Thank you OKellsBells, Isabelle81 and LSUTigerDoc. We have finally been able to take a step forward this week. His body was released to us and we are now able to make funeral arrangements. We don't have the results from the medical examiner's office yet but at least we can finally lay him to rest this weekend.

I’m not familiar with all of the circumstances surrounding your situation, but I am deeply sorry for the loss that you and your wife must endure. I wish mere words were enough to improve your situation, but all I can do is inadequately express how much I wish this didn’t happen. I don’t really put much faith in prayer, but I pray for you and your wife. I only wish I could help you somehow.

We're all praying for your family.
Every now and then this online community is good for a thing or two. Solving murders and being there for our fellow members going through an awful tragedy are two big ones. and prayers.

Your baby is in the presence of the Lord in a place the human mind can not even begin to understand how beautiful it is. I am so sorry for what you guys are going through, but your sweet baby had a short life on this tough earth and is now in complete paradise.

Still praying for you redstick. I know it might sound meaningless, but try to continue to surround yourself with people that love you. If you’re anything like me the natural tendency is to withdrawal, I can tell you from experience this makes it worse. Again, my heart is breaking for you and praying for some kind of peace for you and your wife.

Thinking of you, your wife and the family. You recently shared the services were pending. Not asking for any more than you want to share just know you have the thoughts and prayers of many.

Update for the community. We were finally able to have the funeral services for our son this past Saturday. It was such a beautiful service. Johson Funeral home in Lake Charles did a wonderful job. Laying our son to rest really lifted a weight off both my wife and me. Last night was the first time we had a good nights sleep since this all started.

Thank you again for keeping us in your prayers and thoughts.

Now we can start to move on with our lives and continue to search for answers to what happened to our precious little boy.
