Proof social distancing is the most important (not mask, not quarantine, just good old fashioned distance and hygiene. This is the most concentrated population on earth (besides Indonesia).

Yeah, imagine believing that limiting social interaction can reduce the chances of passing a highly contagious virus. Those people must be idiots!

They had countries in central and south America where lockdowns were strictly enforced - could only go out to grocery shop or if you worked in gov, healthcare that have higher deaths and case per capita than the US

So again show me the scientific data that lockdowns work

Im really interested in why it didn’t hit them hard way sooner. They seem like a perfect situation for spread.

I read that there was a religious gathering in early April that saw 9 million people get together.

I also read about large political rallies ahead of elections.

And we already know about the poor sanitation in India.

Recipe for disaster.

Look, I can't help anyone that lacks common sense. If you haven't figured out by now that you reduce your chances of getting sick by avoiding people that are sick, there's nothing I can say that will convince you of that.

Peru locked down hard to no avail.

The issue is people have a hard time predicting unintended effects. Yes, if people could all to a letter not interact with another then they would work. Or, if people were robots it could work. The issue is people aren't robots and some of the "common sense" measures aren't correct.

For instance, why lock people in their homes? We would have been better off making people camp outside.

Or those dividers a lot of schools put around kids' desks. Guess what? New study showed those lessened ventilation and trapped virus, increasing chance of infection.

I already clarified my use of "lockdowns" because it triggered you. If you still can't see the forest for the trees, that's a you problem.

Also the guy who prematurely credited himself for India avoiding the worst of COVID and made no preparations for things to get worse. Now they're screwed.

They’ve been showing some of the hospitals taking care of patients. All I can say is God bless America, that place is lacking in some serious advanced medical facilities..
