The argument goes that much of the sensory experience from beer is from the aromatics. Drinking from the can or bottle deprives you of this. The other no-no is the frosted glass. Beer served at ice cold temps numbs the taste buds making it difficult to actually taste it.
That said, for me it's craft beers in a glass and Silver Bullets from the can.

You know why Alchemist suggests drinking from the can right?

When I'm at home I usually like to use a glass.

I do.
And I've always poured it in a glass

Agree. IPA's open up the closer they get to room temp. The only reason budmillercoorsmichelobetc is served ice cold is to disguise the fact that you are drinking a urine like substance.

Always in a room temperature glass at home.
I'll drink straight from the can in the pool or other situations where glass isn't appropriate. Even then, I'll pour it into a stainless steel cup if I have it with me.

Glass at home 95% of the time regardless of type of beer

What's wrong with cold beer?
Posted on 10/12/16 at 4:18 pm to dshort_bruh
yeah like someone said depends
Cheap beer?
Can is fine
Anything better than a Bud Light and I like a glass.

I almost always drink out a glass. Even standard American lager is more enjoyable out of a glass. The high carbonation dances and I like the low corn and green apple hints off of it.
That being said I'll drink GITM out a bottle in front of the hipsters just to piss'em off.

90% of my glasses are from The Bulldog or Karbach and don't think I've ever poured a beer into them at home. ITEs don't warrant extra loving. I'm sure I would if I bought nice beer.

If I'm having canned beer, I drink it from the can.

How many frozen glasses do you own?
I put a coozie on that beer and drink it.
