Even if you do everything right, it can still happen. I nearly got “metoo’d” my first year of teaching by a female student. Only thing that saved me was another teacher just so happened to be nearby to corroborate my side of the story. That was in 2008. I can only imagine how bad it would be now.

Im genuinely disturbed that so many guys are worried how they too might have been accused to past youthful indiscretions...

but then again I never had to force myself in a woman
they wanted it

Complete and utter horse shite. My best friend got wrongly accused of this garbage because the girl couldn't face her parents knowing she was a sloot when she didn't come home one night.

GTFO here with that nonsense. In today's day, the burden of proof falls on the accused and you are guilty until proven innocent.

What was the scenario? Were you in a one on one meeting with her?

Real bratty, disruptive girl that had a horrible attitude. Told her to stay after class one day. Kept the door open. Spoke to her respectfully and said she was out of warnings and if she disrupted class again, I was writing her up. I had already called home twice and it wasn’t helping. She copped and attitude and I copped one back and she stormed out of the room.

Went home and told her mother that I locked her in the room, pinned her against the wall, and made a “sexual threat.”

Never found out the “threat” but those were the words the assistant principal and SRO (police officer) used when confronting me about it the next day. Luckily for me, the girl didn’t realize that the special ed inclusion teacher was in the room at the time and said everything the girl claimed was bullshite.

Thing is, I could tell from the way the AP and SRO were speaking to me that I was fricked. Her word against mine. She was pretty and 15 and I was 23 and new. Those two guys were ready to kick my arse right there and I still think every now and then what the hell would have happened if that teacher wasn’t in the corner of the room waiting to ask me a question.

my brother was accused in high school (or shortly after he was out). luckily everyone already knew she was a giant whore and that my brother was a nice guy so it didn't gain any traction. Plus he ran into her a couple of weeks later and made her shout "HE frickED ME AND I WANTED IT" in a crowded bar and in front of her new boyfriend.

As a poster with a son and a daughter, I am far more worried about her getting raped....

Getting falsely accused would suck and does make you a victim, but if you chose wisely who you hang around and put your dick in you should be able to avoid it for the most part

ETA I just read the thread and realize everyone knows someone who got royally screwed and literally, literally there was nothing he could do

It's not fool proof, but you'd be surprised how helpful this is. Like every male on our church staff team either has windows on their doors or don't close their doors when meeting with a female. Sure, accusations can still come up, but you can really help yourself out by being smart ahead of time.

Then you get accused of treating men and women differently

Dude, 7 of my best friends were accused and they took the girl out to dinner and simply made sweet sweet love to the girls and called them after and everything

None of mine were, not concerned.

If 7 of your friends were accused, I think it's safe to say that is no coincidence. You're either hanging with guys that make questionable decisions, and there's probably virtually no chance all 7 were falsely accused. The odds that all 7 are standup gentlemen who were falsely accused I'd guess is 0%.

I have a daughter and two sons. I don't want her to be mistreated in any way/accuse anyone falsely and I don't want the boys to be falsely accused.

not really, they are good boys. But I am not too sure I am completely out of the woods if we decide that slapping asses and getting your hands knocked off of boobs while making out in high school equates to sexual assault.

Calling the girl to see if she can locate their bottle of rohypnol does not count.

If you got 7 friends being accused of rape, you may need to reconsider your vetting procedure for best friends.

With society stepping closer and closer to accusations = guilt, are you worried that one day a girl could falsely claim rape/sexual assault for whatever crazy reason? And that he has to deal with the repercussions as if he's guilty before he's allowed to put up a defense?

A buddy of mine got held hostage in a relationship because every time he tried to break up, she said she would go to the police.

Eventually, he had enough crazy texts from here, he said he didn't care if she went to police, he could prove she was blackmailing him.
