I see the Flag of Brittany on back of vehicles all the time. Why so?
We raise and train upland hunting dogs, Brittany Spaniels, so we have it. With the obvious part being that is where the breed originated.

I get the Palmetto. What up with the crescent though? Found out a few months ago, some of my ancestors are from South Carolina and fought the British. My Aunt did all the research and I am now a Son of American Revolution. She is finding out some pretty fascinating stuff! Does this now make me pick a side when it comes to the feud between Carolina and Clemson???

My however many great Grandfather, Gen. William Moultrie designed the flag. The crescent came from a part of the uniform of the 2nd South Carolina Regiment.
