you listen to the podcast series? really good

I just listened to the True Crime Garage 4 year update last week and went back and listened to the original episode because I'd never heard of it.

I'm convinced the police know who did it but didn't have enough evidence to make a case. Maybe this a-hole held onto some evidence as a trophy of sorts and they find it to put this guy on the gurney and give him the juice.

That’s very odd. Almost like he wanted to be caught.

So that's what makes it tricky. I'm following all the crime boards on Reddit and people have postulated that the guy on the bridge seemed so calculated in how everything went and he essentially wasn't seen by anyone and this guy gets caught so easily.

No clue if that’s him but the resemblance is definitely creepy. I have a hard time seeing that guy dress like the man in the photo though.

I had heard of the story before, but that episode of Crime Junkies is one of the few that actually got to me

Maybe tell people to stop attacking me personally then.

I'll leave it alone at this point, it's clear the poster I was sparring with is an idiot and has abandoned ship at this point.

Yes. At this point, it looks like you are winning at this point.

I've always wondered if the cops think it's 2 guys- and that's the reason for 2 pics- 1 guy herds them down the hill, the other guy had taken low ground and they met. That's how he subdued 2 people at once- if he had an accomplice.

Highly doubtful it was 2 guys. If he had a gun or knife these girls were very young and small.

No doubt in my mind this fricker is the Delphi guy. I'm wondering how the cops juat knocked on his door looking for the 9 year old. They knock on every door? Or maybe they him on a list. fricker let's the cops in knowing she's in his basement. He was proud of what he was doing

I think the little girl in the basement was a neighbor, so it's possible they were canvassing and felt like something wasn't right once they got to his house.

I’m with you. Something seems off. He kills 2 girls 20 miles away on a secluded hiking trail and gets away with it for 4 years but slips up when kidnaps a girl from the same neighborhood?

Surprised he didn't shoot it put with the cops when they knocked. He is probably vain enough to believe he would outsmart them.

What were his options, though? Probably didn’t have a lot of time to think about it and maybe thought looking cooperative was his best option.

Also, what made bridge guy seem so calculating? Probably just had been lucky for 4 years.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but this guy is a creep. I don't think this is the first time he has done this to a child.

I think when the cops came knocking on his door he tried to play it cool but thankfully the cops saw through that.

This situation seems like one of opportunity- not planned and that is how he got caught.

They have DNA from the girls' murder so we should know soon if he's the guy.
