Portland police arrest man wanted in Louisiana triple murder

He initially gave police a false name, according to the court document, and the driver of the car he hit told an officer that he had a murder warrant from Louisiana. He insisted his name was Demetrius Jenkins and had a driver's license and birth certificate in the name, but officers ran his fingerprints and confirmed he was the man wanted out of Louisiana, according to the affidavit.

i'm more curious about how the driver of the car he hit knew he had a fake name and was wanted for murder in Louisiana... like did he hit his best friend's car?

He is wanted in NOLA for triple homicide warrant. He was selling cocaine on the street in NOLA last May when two other men robbed him (using a handgun) of some cocaine during a deal.
