Fact. I dont pull around. I dont have to wait. I have Mexicans and suburban white kids making my chicken, and it's on time, everytime.
I just bought the spicy sandwich at 4:15pm this afternoon.
I'm 30 miles north of San Antonio.

This is exactly what it is. It’ll be in even higher demand when it returns.
They didn’t run out of anything, total marketing move.
I've traveled all around this country, and everywhere I go, they have crappy run Popeyes and crappy employees.
I don't think they are smart enough to do this intentionally

Well, frick... According to Business Insider:
"The demand for the new chicken sandwich in the first few weeks following launch far exceeded our very optimistic expectations," the company said. "In fact, Popeyes aggressively forecasted demand through the end of September and has already sold through that inventory."
"The company provided no timeline for when the sandwich would return to its restaurants."
"We, along with our suppliers, are working tirelessly to bring the new sandwich back to guests as soon as possible," the company said.

Do you think the fry cook is running the media campaign?

Popeyes doesn’t even run their own media campaign. They hire major marketing firms to do all that for them.

The sandwich has been out for 3 months.
Where has everyone been?

Oh well.

Now that they are sold out of the “large” breasts I guarantee that they will be replacing them with smaller portions.
Came here to post this and see you beat me to it.

It only rolled out nationwide a on August 12th. It was rolled out in LA a few weeks earlier.
Bruh there’s been a thread about the sandwich on the food board since June 23rd. It came out even before then.

It didn't make it to the Popeyes in Prairieville until mid-July, and many stores in LA still didn't have them. The point is they couldn't meet demand when they rolled it out across the country about 2 weeks ago.

I saw it at a popeye’s here back in June, didn’t pay it any mind. Then I saw the ad campaign and was like ughhhh....

It’s been out before they officially “rolled it out”.
You snooze you lose.
I’ve had 3 of them in the past couple months. I’m good for a while.

Yeah but if you live in like NYC then it wasn't out. You probably wouldn't even know of it's existence. It's unlikely you were going to stumble on the TD Food Board, read the thread, then fly to New Orleans to pick one up.

Yeah that sounds about right. Hopefully they’ll get some employees actually worth paying.

Yeah, I've scarfed down 4 of them since they started serving them on 73 in Prairieville. Checked my post in the mammoth PSCS thread- ate my first one on 7/17.
Maybe it's a good thing they are out for a while so my cholesterol can start coming back down.
