It's only funny because Wendy's used to have the best chicken sandwich and the best burgers. Then they decided to change things up to go along with this fast casual fad. In doing so the flavor and quality dropped significantly.
Their chicken nuggets are still on point though.

The ones' here in the Bay area that's I've been too, which is three or four, are all markedly better than anyone in Baton Rouge that I ever went too. Same exact menu, same exact food, completely different level of service and cleanliness.

For clarity sake: Popeyes might be marketed at a Cajun fast food restaurant but it is actually a Chalmattian creation as Popeyes was founded in Chalmette where the Arabians once roamed the sacred kitchen. It is actually not Cajun or Southern but rather a New Orleans style fried chicken which is heavy on spice.
With that said you can take you Carolina folks can take your Bojangles and Arby's and enjoy your own so-called culinary slop.

They are still made in Louisiana (Gramercy) even though it was sold to some company in Pennsylvania after Zapp died.
