I love the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich and I love that we’ve been able to eat it for a couple of months before everyone else.
I know it’s going to give me explosive diarrhea but I get it anyways. That’s how good it is.

Zaxby’s has wings that are good (for fast food). So yeah I put them ahead of Popeye’s. Their chicken sammiches are better, plus they have more options. So yes they are better.

Bojangles also has the bo berry biscuit which will change your life (and blood sugar).
Plus you get to hear them mumble 4 syllables in a mic while you order and somehow your order comes out right every time.
And Bojangles tea actually has a taste to it. Popeye’s tea is sugar water with one token tea bag thrown in for coloring.

I'll say this. Growing up in SC, but being raised by Louisiana natives. Popeyes was a rare treat growing up. My family taught me it was the best. However there was none in SC for a long time. So Popeyes was only eaten when we returned to Louisiana to visit.
However when a Popeyes was opened here in my SC town. I was LIT. After a few visits with consistently bad service, half arse food, and higher prices for chicken. I'll always opt for Bojangles. Service is consistent around here, they're much cheaper, and nothing cures a hangover like a Cajun Filet Biscuit with Bo Rounds. Bojangles has been faithful to me many times in college, and beyond.
Sure they're Cajun in name only, but the product itself is solid.
A well run Popeyes is better for sure, but those are as common as Bigfoot encounters. So I no longer romanticize Popeyes. I just eat Bojangles and enjoy.

Its true. That tiny, quarter sized chicken at chick fil a pales in comparison, in taste and size. Popeyes still has shitty service though.

I've tried Burger King twice in the last couple months - 2 different locations - and each time felt like I had a chest-burster from the movie Alien. Never again.
