Chicken is pretty cheap at the grocery store compared to the per oz price at Popeyes. A jar of pickles costs a few dollars. Ditto on mayo. 8 buns is $1.29 at Super 1.

Could make the sandwiches for about $3.50 at home.

It was just a long-winded 3.50 joke smh

But I do think I could do it, even one sandwich at a time. The only catch is whether I can freeze the pre-cooked chicken.

Anybody know how many oz of chicken is in the Popeyes sandwich?

Do they ever actually have any? Went two places yesterday one in Baton Rouge and one in Lafayette and neither had any. Went back to one today and they didn’t have any

They all said they were out as soon as I pulled up to the drive thu

Where you getting 3 pickle slices, spicy mayo, and a brioche bun for $3.99? That's before we even get to the chicken.

You don’t buy them 3 at a time. It’s a couple of dollars for a hundred of them.

Have y’all ever been grocery shopping and/or cooked for yourselves?

So what you’re saying is you can’t make 1 chicken sandwich for less than $4?

Yep. uway is just dug in now even though he knows he sounds stupid.

Economies of scale come into play here. You ain't making a single chicken sandwich for $4.

You’re saying the rules are I have to buy a pack of buns, a pack of chicken, a bottle of oil, a jar of mayo, a jar of pickles? Then make one sandwich and throw everything away that I didn’t use?
That’s retarded. No one grocery shops or cooks that way.

I just did the math and the cost is roughly $3.29, and that’s with a 1/2 lb of chicken which I seriously doubt they give you.

I’m going put a food truck next to Popeyes and sell them for $3.98.

I can confirm, I ate 2 last night.

The chicken was so large I am pretty sure an F-14 could land on it. It was in the shape of an aircraft carrier.

No we are saying $3.99 is cheap considering I only want one. Not 50. I’m ashamed I continue to argue with you. Lucky for you I have no self respect

It’s a great deal especially if the chicken serving is as large as y’all say.
