This blanket paranoia over "social justice" and preserving the Confederate flag is really bringing out the tards.

Also, might makes right. frick, shithole South America might even be more backwards then they already are if not for European invaders. People talk shite about Africa, but South America is just as bad.
Tenochitlan, the Aztec capitol, had a population of at least 200K, at the time of the Spanish conquest. That's comparable to the size of Paris during the same time frame. The people lived in stone houses, and running water came to the city via aqueducts.
The Incas had a road system that allowed communication and travel throughout the empire within a matter of days.

When has he contradicted him?
I didn't mean to say he had. I really don't follow him closely. I was thinking along the lines of him changing the church's stance on abortion, etc.

They were exterminated or assimilated. My point was the Spaniards didn't find primitive peoples living in the Americas. In some ways they were more advanced than Europeans. But they hadn't developed gunpowder, and that made all the difference.

No he does not. He's the head of the church and a human being. Nothing more.
He's also a marxist a-hole who needs to STFU.

Wrong
quote:
1) Christ made Peter the leader of the apostles and of the church (Matthew 16:18-19). In giving Peter the “keys of the kingdom,” Christ not only made him leader, but also made him infallible when he acted or spoke as Christ’s representative on earth (speaking from the seat of authority, or “ex cathedra”). This ability to act on behalf of the church in an infallible way when speaking “ex cathedra” was passed on to Peter’s successors, thus giving the church an infallible guide on earth. The purpose of the papacy is to lead the church unerringly.

I've heard that new pope speak before. He seemed like a pretty righteous old dude.

Yeah thanks for pointing to something only recognized officially twice in the history of the Church. Not obfuscating Catholic beliefs at all by implying that it's a frequent occurrence.

I mean, the way the spanish treated the Aztecs and all the other tribes in south america made the way the indians that were treated bad here look like a vacation.
they pretty much just slaughtered them for gold.
