There are plenty of drills available that allow the kids to hit each other to “toughen the up”. This guy basically just has them fighting and worse of all they could break a hand bc they are throwing punches essentially when the other guy has his helmet on.

There's a real youth drill where the coach yells "compete" and two predetermined teams run to a 10x10 yard box and try to push the other team out. Only rule is it has to be legal, no facemasks, blocks in the back, etc.

The drill can happen at anytime, during warmup, water breaks. Supposed to teach the kids to be ready to go in an instant and I've heard the kids love it. I've never used it.

Doesn’t look like anyone got hurt. Some Americans are too damn soft. You want your son to be tough or little soft soyboy? You decide.

Well I don't want him to grow up to be a fricking moron who throws punches at someone wearing a helmet, so what does that make me?

it makes you someone that never lettered in shite....and more than likely someone that would finance a water bed like Brit would do.

Absolutely disgusting.
The "coaches" who had these kids doing this should not only be banned for life but possibly be jailed for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

And before anyone gets the wrong idea, I grew up in a town in Ga where at the Pop Warner level it was not unusual to run "Bull in the Ring" or "Line of Death" tackling drills when we were being uncooperative in our intake of football skill-training as players

Bad take is bad. 4 year letterman. Don't recall having fighting practice at a single practice for any sport. And if you throw a punch at someone wearing a football helmet, you are dumb as frick

as far as the video in question, to quote the great 3year letterman

quote:

This is a beautiful display of patriotism and competitiveness. It’s what makes America great.

i approve of this fine display of America!!!

you dont recall fighting at practice because you coach was a pussy who didnt letter in shite. looks like he raised a pussy to.

only things that matter in life are football, fighting and food. in that order.
