Oh this again.

Christianity is definitely not a religion of peace

Hinduism is definitely not a religion of peace

Buddhism is definitely not a religion of peace

Judaism is defintely not a religion of peace

See, I can classify an entire religion based on bad apples as well.

What do you do as a "peaceful" christian to stop abortion clinic bombings or drone strikes on innocent people?

A large majority of the radicals that have been arrested in the western world have been so because of their local mosque reporting them to the police.

I'd be interested to see you break that down in percentages.

87% of Egyptians, 89% of Palestians, were supportive of Al Quida's actions.

You'd be hard pressed to find much support of KKK in the Evangelical community.

Please show me anything in the last decade on the scale of what Muslims have done.

Specious arguments ain't fooling anyone who has paid attention to international news in the past decade. Radical Islam is spreading faster than the so-called "peaceful" kind.

The same mosques that preach sharia law? The same mosques that preach and promote anti-western thought? The same religious leaders who have been deafeningly SILENT on the growing trend of Islamic violence that is burgeoning on a full-blown epidemic?

Yea. Ok.

Christians have gotten their act together for the most part. You can believe the news would be all over a crazy Christian taking hostages in the name of Jesus.

Pretty ignorant to push them all into the radical category.

That being said, they sure are making themselves look bad.

Christians have done some bad things but have mostly evolved aside from the Neo Nazis....but most of those clowns are in prison.

The real root of the problem is the complete lack of education in Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran etc....real education with free thinking does not exist. The Arab Spring helped but this is an issue thats going to take a few generations to fix.

ISIS has the Arab Spring running the other direction.

Very frustrating.

Nazis were a secular political party led by a charismatic dictator. Not even remotely a "Christian" ethos. Good lord y'all. Listen to yourselves.

No, but the christian right seems hell bent on wiping the ME off the map...sooooo.

WE GOTTA KILL DEM TERRORISTS

Jesus said turn the other cheek.

BUT THEY'RE THREATENING OUR WAY OF LIFE

Hasn't the hyper nationalism and national security overhaul since 9/11 destroyed our way of life more than 9/11 has?

WE CAN'T LET THE TERRORISTS WIN.

We beat the Nazis and Commies, some camel frickers in the middle of the desert are a buzzing mosquito compared to them.

No, I'm referring to the mosques that actually exist in the US and UK. Those don't operate the way you just described.

Neo Nazis are a secular hate group. They are not a radical faction of Christianity and they are an incredibly small and insignificant portion of white people. What are you talking about dude?

Agreed.

And I'm not here to defend Islam because they do seem to be devolving a bit, but I just fear backlash against great people in America that are practicing Muslims that think just as badly about these radicals as you and I do. Its a MASSIVE religion with a lot of different sects/belief systems and they don't all preach hate.

I think me having a couple of friends like this makes it a bit more personal for me.

It doesn't have to be in the name of Christianity. Your tax dollars are responsible for the murder of innocent people. What are you doing about it?
