Police standoff in Mobile

Armed suspect, threatening to kill himself, has been in his car since 1030 this morning… We just had some shots fired out of the back glass of the car and he got out and walked around for a minute and then got back in.

Looks like he probably just killed himself. The new station was being a bunch of pussies and wouldn’t show anything.

he leaned out window of passenger side.
they aborted the camera to another angle not seeing anything
then they like ruh roh, they showed a shot of him hanging over the edge outside of passenger door.
then reporter later mentions about he shot himself.

They keep talking about mental illness and that he was already shot when he got there and just confirmed he shot himself in the head. Obviously they knew who is was, suspecting it was white guy

You could basically see himself shot himself on WKRG, sounds like he tried to kill himself but didn’t do it successfully they went to help him he didn’t want help, after 5 hours or so shot tear gas into car he then shot himself in head probably killing himself.
They said they called in family, Shrinks etc.
He probably either works downtown or maybe some domestic or court issue and maybe was going to public style etc

Why don’t they just let them? If they did, these type situations would decline tremendously.
