its amazing to see people defend a cop slamming on brakes on an interstate potentially killing some idiot on a motorcycle. They ticket people all the time for brake checking because it's stupid and dangerous

He also destroyed a police car in a fit of temper.

That could've been handled lots of different ways.

All he had to do was comply.
Comply, comrade, comply.

Biker should have easily out braked the car. He should have been paying a lot more attention after the first brake check and had the front brake covered.
If you are near a motorcycle. examine the shape of the tires from front and rear. They are rounded in order to keep constant contact in turns which greatly limits the area of contact with the ground even when straight.

This is why better riders NEVER tailgate. Their braking ability is limited.

Once tried to save a jackass like this rider when he went by in excess of 100 mph and a sudden crosswind sailed him into a rain softened median. He and his Ninja began tumbling together. He got badly tangled in that dance. Not sure he made it, but he was still sort of screaming as the highway patrol and EMS arrived and I departed.

I ride, but have no sympathy for this clown and people who ride like him.

Not a fan of what the trooper did either.

Jackass day...

If the biker wasn’t breaking the law, then why was he so concerned that the vehicle was a cop?

You’re right, but from the police?

Like I said, it doesn't matter. Police are still human beings and they make mistakes just like other people. I feel sorry for the guy that wiped out, but you have to ride like every other car on the road is a hazard. (Because they are.)

Biker played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. It was his choice to play; no one else’s.
