It is ridiculous that police are involved in this matter. Is what appears in the photo "offensive"...to some yes. The only potential criminal offense would be if the school owned the flag and they filed charges against the student for vandalism.
If the student owned the flag there is nothing to see here.
I don't agree with what they did, but that doesn't mean they are not entitled to their own opinion.
