If this is true they should be publicly blasted. Obviously a business can't always control it's employees from doing something like this, but covering it up is showing complicity and I can't imagine anyone would be willing to eat at a place like that.

Las Palmas is owned and operated by Arabs. Some of the cooks and servers may be Central American. Nothing Mexican about that place.
