One thing that's obvious is that if wasn't obvious that she was pregnant. Which is why these headlines are ridiculous without context. She may have not even known she was pregnant if we're being honest.

Man, I feel so bad that that other woman's three kids had to watch that obviously armed criminal get herself shot and killed by police. It really breaks me up.

Nah. The media knew the damn story. Daily Mail buried the lead fourteen paragraphs deep in their article that the woman who got herself shot and her boyfriend(?) were caught riding around in a stolen car, ran from police when they got behind them, then she got out and fled on foot (apparently with a gun). Daily Mail had to set the stage with an innocent pregnant woman, bystanders who were beyond reproach, and lots and lots of wailing and handwringing before they could tell you what actually happened.
