ADVERTISEMENT Parents called 911 about an elderly man they said was bothering children at the McDonald’s in Grand Island on Friday.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, which occurred about 4 p.m., a spokesman said in an email.
The man came in, talked to a family and took one of a boy’s french fries, according to a mother who posted about the incident on Facebook. The man tried to share some of his food with children in the play area and went back to the restaurant, she wrote.
The man returned to the play area, and another mother yelled that he had crawled into the slide and that the children should get out, according to the Facebook post.
Parents told their children to get out of the play area, but one child said she couldn’t because the man would not let her move. The mother wrote that the man was on top of her daughter and would not move. The mother said the man told her daughter to “go between my legs.”
While the man said he was stuck, as soon as the girl got out, he was able to slide down, according to the mother.
The mother wrote that parents in the restaurant stood in the man’s way when he tried to leave.
“We would not let the old man leave when he tried – we simply stood in his way and said the police were on their way,” she wrote.
He told the parents it was his 85th birthday and he went to the restaurant to celebrate, but the mother wrote that he was 83 and it wasn’t his birthday. She said deputies took her statement and said they would talk to the District Attorney’s Office.

I at first thought this was SJW gone wild, but I don't know?
If that old man can work a computer or smart device, a search history will determine intent.

Was she there 83 years ago to witness the birth?

Sounds like dementia more than anything too sinister. Some those old folks do absolutely crazy shite when it gets bad.

Sorry, my bad. I got the day wrong. I'll go home now.

It's possible that he identifies as a 7 year old boy.

He obviously has dementia. Was calling the police necessary?
