Since creating my account 10 years ago, the only two boards I have spent time on are the SECRant and the PoliBoard.
To hear the PB tell it, this place is a cesspool of soy. I don’t have much data to work from, so I took their word for it. At this point, though, I just can’t spend my bandwidth there. It has become the right wing analog of Democratic Underground. That’s an exaggeration, but not by much. Not everybody there is a caricature, but too many are.
All this to say I’m new to this board, but not to the site. Will take a while to get my footing here.

The only difference you need to know is PB takes itself very seriously and collectively, they think they have the universal answers to all the problems. tOT, on the other hand, shifts from mildly serious to wildly ludic. I think you got some bad info. The current iteration of the OT Lounge is the vasectomy, colonoscopy, and dudes who wear cargo shorts (and the dudes who call them out) board. Post about those topics and you'll fit right in.
