Most every thread posted this morning can be associated with politics. Yet none have been any different than before this thread.

No they’re not. Most have nothing to do with politics. There’s a GMT thread, lunch thread, kids living at home, vegetable retard, several Christmas gift threads and several weather threads along with other random non political threads.
