So I currently have a plant job and I'm working for Turner Industries. I hate this job and I'm also in college so I'm just doing this job for money but I have zero motivation to go to this job anymore. I'm really leaning on quitting. Has anyone ever been in this situation before and quit?

That's nearly a Websters definition of the word "job". Life sucks kid and it's only getting worse.

Do it.
Go work as a ditch digger, as a restaurant fry cook, or as a garbage man as that is all you are probably qualified for at this point.

So what are you going to college for? A recreational therapy job?

Do you have any idea how many people would love to work in a plant???

Be grateful for what you have

If I had a family and was out of college of course I would just throw it over my shoulders and keep working. And I actually do know how to work hard I've worked hard my entire life

I wish I could make a decent wage wearing green jeans, but I buck up and go to work to pay for the shite I want. Stop letting your dad foot the bill, and go to work ready to learn anything and everything you can. Talk to everyone you can and make some contacts. You may work for a big O&G company one day doing something completely different, but not with that attitude.

Welcome to adulthood.

You won't like the job you get after college either, but you still have to do it.

My dad told me about this awesome place where you just show up, do what you're told and get paid money. It's called work.

Suck it up.
School is almost back in session. Make the $$$$ while you can.

And how the hell are you going to get that participation trophy if you quit showing up??
