Almost 31,000 fpm descent before impact. That's 352 mph straight down. Jesus.

At that speed in a nose dive, the G-forces would disorient you and make it impossible to speak full sentences. I’m surprised the female pilot was even able to still speak clearly towards the end of the CVR audio.

Probably broke through the low level clouds and saw the ground rapid approaching. Most of the other time during the descent they would have been in the clouds.

Jesus Christ, a-hole, can you at least let her remains quit smoldering before you assail her professional reputation? If there is a time and place for this discussion, it ain’t this moment.
Any hope you have of succeeding in an argument about gender suitability will probably be assisted by arguing after the flames on the wreckage go out (at a minimum). Maybe she bares some responsibility, but try to show a little respect for her and class for yourself.

Its a message board of folks that have no connection to this tragic crash.
Of course people will start making "what if?" cases. I wouldn’t be surprised some higher ups ( hard to imagine more higher ups than the posters on this board, though) haven't already tweeted for the world to see their two bit comments.
