Serious question. What’s the sop for a patient with 100% burns? Just try to numb the pain and ease passing? If they’re an organ donor are those still usable

Depends on type of burns.

I was 75% coverage borderline 2nd third degree.

I was in the burn unit at Baton Rouge general for 6 weeks and continued the rest of my recovery at home.

100% is coverage but not degree. Could be mostly 2nd degree which depending on if any organs were damaged would be possible for healing and survival.

From RaginPagin.com

"Live off Feu Follet, House shook, saw smoke billow out window. Got there about 90 seconds after. Survivor sitting in field about 15 yards off path of plane. Not sure if the three guys surrounding him had dragged him there, or if that's where he landed."

DAMN

Hopefully the burn patient was brought to Lourdes Burn Center. I know the physicians and they are very good.

This is just awful. So many prayers for everyone involved, couldn’t fathom the terror of that news.

I can attest to it probably being better to die than survive.

I'm a survivor and many may times on my journey to healing I wished I was dead, seriously wished it

I am too, now.

But have sense gotten over my fear of burning to death.

Honestly by the time you would feel it you would likely be gone. Adrenaline takes over pretty quickly.

About 15 minutes in is when the adrenaline wore off and the pain came.

No none of coaches other family was on the plane! Keep them all in your thoughts and prayers and this is an extremely difficult time!
