I'm not seeing anywhere else saying it's a commercial flight

Info circulating is saying a regional jet operated by PSA (American Airlines).

News is saying "small plane". But that video is definitely some kind of commercial jet. Might be a crj but that's still a lot of people down.

You sure? I fly there all the time and there are general aviation signs all over the place.

It’s a 70 person regional plane.

A CRJ-700

Looks intentional on the police helicopter

Once we find out the pilots name we'll know if it was intentional or not

How is that possible?

You can see a small dot coming in from the left of the screen.

Could have been intentional. The helicopter was going straight at the plane.

Fox News said there are 5 boats in the river and have pulled some survivors out of the water.

It kind of does, but perhaps something went wrong?

I know the boat crashing into the bridge looked intentional to some, but I never thought that was intentional.

Wrong.

One of American’s wholly-owned regionals, PSA operates out of DCA.

That would be absolutely insane if they found survivors here.

I fly out of there tomorrow. It could’ve been me.

ETA: for real. Makes me feel sick. Headed down to LA for regional Mardi Gras stuff.

I would imagine just based off size and mass that the airplane probably didn’t crash but the helicopter bounced off the plane like a pinball

I haven’t found a link but the guy on Hannity said that is what he was hearing that was just reported to him.

I’m very aware of what PSA is what does that have to do with most private stuff not operating at dca?
