quote:If IIRC -there is a heavy push for an Italian Pope. This guy was born there, but did his religious studies in Israel, alongside the teachings of Islam and Judaism.
Pizzaballa is the leading candidate for pope.
This helps his case as his learnings there provided him with a heavy background in the foundations of Christianity.
Plus there is pizza in his name. He's gotta win

He is reported to have said, “There are fäggôt rings, we’ve gotten rid of at least one.”
So I'm imagining this.
Only formed into a ring shape and deep fried.
They are at the conclave and he calls up Cardinal Lasagnashotcalla and says "Hey, get your red hat wearing arse to the conclave already. “There are fäggot rings, we’ve gotten rid of at least one.”.

Well he has my vote. He’s probably still Marxist but anything to the right of Francis is an improvement.

Francis said frociaggine on at least two occasions.
I like it because now we can say frociaggie.

Fully support him on this alone.

He is pretty young and conservative as I recall. Around age 60 I think? And with the huge influx of liberal and Jesuit influenced cardinals, I think this would be a surprising choice. Unless I am confused in my memory of this man.
He turned 60 the day Pope Francis passed.
He's Gen X.

The Catholic Church might be the original Pizzagate.

You would think since the Pope is the Vicar of Christ
Except he’s not, so there’s that

Maybe he can get the nuns that make the communion wafers some leeway to add some pizza type flavoring so they look and taste like:
The red coloring will make it more resemble the body of Christ. The nuns will have to find some natural coloring since RFK is getting rid of some of food coloring probably used in those chips.

Believe it or not, the succession of the papacy is probably at it's least political point today.. Can you imagine an extremely wealthy family installing a pope? Well, the Medici's installed four of them from the 1500-1600s. Today, popes can come from all parts of the world Before 1970 there all Italian or French, with very little exception.

Who installed that last Pope, Pope Fugazzi? He cared little for tradition and values.

I' m not commenting at all on the quality of said pope. The Medici's basically owned the College of Cardinals and influenced who they selected. Again, one family....

That is an awesome last name even for the pedo-defenders crew.
