Pit bulls are wild lethal weeapons that should be banned from contact with humans.
18 mos. ago lady was walkin her dog 10 at nighti in mixed residential light business neighborhood outside West Monroe.. Unfortunately her dog was in heat.
As they passed back yard of business with 4 ft chan link fence pit bull climbed it to get to dog in heat.
Lady attacked when tried to keep pit away from her dog. Person who viewed business camera said most gruesome thing you could imagine as lady fought for her life for about 10 minutes before giving up and dying.

There are over 3.5 million Pit Bulls in the US, there have been less than 400 deaths since 1982 contributed to Pit Bulls...
So we should iradicate the entire species?!?
Border Collies are proven to be more aggressive, so I guess we should get rid of those too...
Shitty owners make Pit Bulls aggressive, they are not born that way.

I've never seen an aggressive border collie in my life, other than aggression towards herding. What is your source?

There have been several tests done on breed temperment, which have almost all shown that the American Pit Bull Terrier is among the LEAST aggressive breeds. Problem is that Pit Bulls are often mislabeled and are very often, not even Pit Bulls or even terriers. These same tests have shown Border Collies to be highly tempermental and it is infact the actions of the OWNER, not the animal that determines how dangerous and aggressive an individual dog is. One source would be the American Temperment Test Society...

Yeah, I'd really like to see how that study was carried out. Common sense and histories of attacks do not favor that type of result which makes me skeptical.
Provide a link explaining the study and its results, or STFU defending dogs that are notoriously known for vicious behavior.
