Oil pans were shite. My brother bought a 3 year old Vega in High School and it was $400. He had to replace 2 oil pans in that car.

Probably because there are no real sedans anymore. Sure, there are four door cars, but they're usually 4-bangers with just enough displacement and torque to roll over a squirrel.
